Web Controller
Control your Magic Light Kit from a computer or an Android phone. There is nothing to install — it runs in your web browser and connects to the lights over Bluetooth.
What you need
This works on
Chrome, Edge, or Opera on Windows, Mac, Linux, or ChromeOS
Chrome on an Android phone or tablet
Bluetooth switched on, with the lights plugged in and nearby
This will not work on
iPhone or iPad — any browser, including Chrome
Safari on a Mac
Firefox on any device
Why an iPhone cannot be used
Apple does not allow any iPhone or iPad browser to connect to Bluetooth devices. Chrome for iPhone is affected too, because every browser on an iPhone uses Apple’s browser engine underneath. This is an Apple restriction, not a limit of your lights.
On an iPhone, use the remote or the USB button on the controller box instead.
How to connect
Power the lights
Plug in the USB controller and switch the lights on. Keep them in the same room while you connect.
Open the controller
Press Open the Web Controller, then Connect Lights. Your browser will ask for permission to use Bluetooth.
Pick your lights
Choose your light string from the list the browser shows and press Pair. The controls unlock as soon as it connects.

Four music modes that react to sound
Multi-color designs across 25 color positions, which repeat five times along the 125-light string
Timers, countdowns, and automatic on and off times
The web controller and the remote both talk to the same light string, so you can switch between them at any time.
